UK higher education institutions can apply for new TNE Exploratory Grants from Going Global Partnerships to establish or expand projects with Bangladesh.

With grants of up to £25,000 available, this opportunity is tailored to institutions seeking to build or expand partnerships with Bangladeshi institutions, with the aim of fostering accessible, high-quality education that aligns with local priorities and supports the Sustainable Development Goals.

This grant provides a unique platform for UK institutions to strengthen Bangladesh’s education sector, contribute to inclusive growth, and expand international learning opportunities.

Project focus

1. Strengthening the quality of TNE in Bangladesh, expanding its reach, enhancing curricula, supporting joint degree awards or engaging in faculty training initiatives.

2. Contributing to the removal of barriers to TNE and supporting or creating new opportunities.

3. Creating an enabling environment for TNE in Bangladesh and promoting the quality of UK education.

4. Supporting TNE to contribute to the transformation of local education systems and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals.

Eligibility 

- Each proposal must include one UK institution and one Bangladeshi partner institution, with the UK lead Institution managing the application process.

- Partnerships may include associated partners such as NGOs, industry bodies or government organisations.
