This is a four-month opportunity for a UK institution or an individual with a track record and expertise in establishing a mentoring programme preferably in the area of secondary school education.

The consultancy will include design of the Senior English Teacher programme, design and delivery of the mentorship training course, post-training facilitation of the SET programme implementation, and writing an interim report on success and challenges of the SET programme implementation.

The Senior English Teacher (SET) programme will be piloted in 100 model schools that have been engaged in the British Council New Ukrainian School project and have pioneered the school reforms. This school-based mentoring initiative aims to provide contextually relevant mentor support for both newly qualified and experienced EFL schoolteachers.

Due to the Covid19 and possible travel restrictions, it is expected that the whole consultancy will be delivered online. In country logistics will be provided by the British Council team.
