EU webinar series: internationalisation and TNE
***Timeline updated***
We are delighted to announce that our 2024-2025 webinar series on UK-EU internationalisation and transnational education (TNE) partnerships will now begin in November.
This is the second year that the British Council in the EU region has run a programme supporting UK universities to better understand the opportunities for internationalisation with institutions in EU countries and develop partnerships.
Please sign up here to join the programme mailing list.
What will the programme include?
The programme will be based around an interactive webinar series, which will include:
- country briefings aiming to provide an overview of the operating environment and
- subject specific webinars focusing on latest news including legislation changes, regulatory frameworks and other developments influencing the growth of institutional collaborations of the UK with their EU counterparts.
Alongside presentations by country experts, you will be able to directly join in the conversation or share your own experiences from your institution.
We will also be sharing resources with members of our series mailing list, including country briefings, research reports and webinar recordings.

Where else can I find out about the webinars?
For each of the country-led webinar sessions, there will also be individual announcements here on the Opportunities and Insights platform.
However, if you sign up for the mailing list, you will also receive our other resources and webinar recordings from countries in which you express a specific interest. This would be a good option if you know you’ll struggle to make live webinars and prefer to watch recorded sessions in your own time.
Where can I find out more?
Watch out this space for the country announcements or contact Ellie Buchdahl, EU Education Senior Marketing Manager, Ellie.Buchdahl@britishcouncil.org.
