UK universities interested in developing TNE programmes are invited to attend an exclusive roundtable discussion on TNE opportunities in Thailand, taking place on Friday 13 December 2024, from 10.30–12.00 UK time, at the British Council, Stratford, London.
The event is jointly organised by the British Council in Thailand and the Thailand Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI).
The event will be delivered by Prof Supachai Pathumnakul, Permanent Secretary of MHESI and Assistant to MHESI Minister, Mr. Supachai Jaisamut. They will introduce and provide details on the Regional Higher Education Hub, a new initiative from the Thai government.
This new policy was recently announced by the Minster of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation to support the establishment of international branch campuses by overseas universities and actively promote transnational education partnerships between Thai and UK universities, including joint and double degrees.
Attendance is free of charge. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
