British Council Thailand is producing two publications to promote the two rapidly growing sectors in the Thai market.
1. Guide to UK Schools and Colleges and Pre-University Programmes 2018
The school and pre-university programme market in Thailand has been growing consistently. In 2017, the number of Tier 4 Child visa applications increased by 22% compared to 2016 and enrolment in UK independent schools has doubled in eight years.
This annual guidebook provides Thai students and parents with up-to-date information on UK schools and colleges. The previous year’s guidebook can be obtained from the link below. In addition, the guide for 2018 will include all types of pre-university programmes.
The guidebook will be in both Thai and English in order to communicate with a wider target group. 5,000 copies will be printed and distributed to the right target audience and made available at British Council activities and events. Furthermore, in order to respond to the changing behaviour of parents and students and enhance its reach, the guidebook will also be produced in electronic format; similar to that shown in this link. It is user-friendly for both desktop and mobile phone.
Promotional opportunities in this guidebook are available to schools, colleges, universities offering international foundation programmes, and further education institutions offering pre-university qualifications such as A-levels.
The guidebook from the previous year and details of the 2018 guidebook can be obtained from the link below.
2. Guide to Summer Schools in the UK 2018
Due to the increasing number of international schools in Thailand and changes in the university year, students have a break during June and July, resulting in more students becoming interested in attending a short English course or other summer courses in the UK during this period. Therefore, for the first time, British Council Thailand is to produce a Guide to Summer Schools in the UK to provide useful information for students and parents on summer courses and institutions offering such courses. The guidebook will be in both Thai and English in order to communicate with a wider group of people. 5,000 copies will be printed and a digital copy will also be available.
Promotional opportunities in this guidebook are available to schools and colleges offering English courses during this summer break or universities offering summer school programmes for both English and other subject areas.
Details on the guidebook can be obtained from the links below.
