The Indonesia International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) is the Government of Indonesia’s scholarship scheme, aimed at providing funding for undergraduate students (both academic and vocational) to participate in short-term mobility programme at top universities internationally.
Students will have the opportunity to spend one semester at an international partner university to study, experience the host country's culture and undertake practical assignments to enhance their skills with their host universities and industry partners.
IISMA has so far sent 4,500 undergraduate students to study in universities around the world, and the UK has been the most popular study destination for IISMA students since the scholarship was first introduced in 2021, with 841 UK placements.
How to apply
Applications are now open for universities to host IISMA scholars in 2024.
UK universities listed as host universities for the 2023 intake are required to submit a new application for the 2024 intake.
