The China Education Expo is one of the largest international education events in China.

This year, the expo will visit four cities, providing the opportunity for UK institutions to showcase their educational offering and engage with prospective Chinese students and their parents, in person.

Approved by the Ministry of Education and organised by China Education Association of International Exchange (CEAIE), the event receives extensive media and public attention every year.

British Council attendance:

The British Council in China is organising the UK pavilion at the Expo, and will promote the event and increase exposure of the participating universities by using the following marketing channels:

 - distributing print media to key national and local media outlets: by discussing relevant topics that are of interest to the Chinese public, these print media are an innovative way to promote UK education

 - online promotion: the British Council has popular Education UK accounts on Chinese social media portals, such as on Sina Weibo (180,000 followers) and WeChat (more than 120,000 followers)

 - offline promotion: the British Council will attend the Education Expo press conference on behalf of all UK exhibitors, and will introduce UK education updates and features of the UK pavilion to all key media contacts across the nation.

     - 60+ days before exhibition opens: 70 per cent refund

     - 30-59 days before exhibition opens: 50 per cent refund

     - 0-29 days before exhibition opens: no refund
