British Council have set up an Inward Mobility Taskforce to look at the impact of Covid-19 on international recruitment to the UK for the 2020-2021 academic year.

With offices in over 100 countries we have drawn on the insights we have via our in-country network and explored a number of areas, rationalising these down to five critical questions.

Looking at countries which send more than 2,500 students to the UK we have produced five heatmaps to help inform UK stakeholders, government and the HE sector on how best to work with each country given local policies and practice.

These heatmaps are a visual representation of the Covid-19 environment and provide a live global snapshot of Covid-19's effect on inward mobility to the UK.
