Indonesia TNE report launched

With the world’s fourth largest population and a rapidly growing economy, Indonesia is a an increasingly active market for student recruitment. But might it present an even stronger opportunity for transnational education? Recent regulatory developments are opening the door to new opportunities, with the legal foundations being laid for branch campuses. Meanwhile, the Indonesian authorities have recently encouraged growth in blended delivery of joint- and double-degree programmes. To explore the developing opportunities and challenges in Indonesia’s TNE landscape, we have compiled a research report based on interviews with key stakeholders in the region and a thorough review of the existing regulatory frameworks.
