The Education UK Exhibition which was held on 14-15 March 2015 in the Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel in Jakarta, and 17 March 2015 in Grand Ballroom, Sheraton Surabaya Hotel in Surabaya and finally on the 19 March 2015 in Santika Premiere Dyandra Hotel & Convention in Medan.

Exhibitions were organized by the British Council, Indonesia and was the largest education related exhibition conducted in Indonesia.  In total there were 69 UK Institutions who have registered to participate at this exhibition covering 3 cities; 67 UK Institutions in Jakarta, 28 UK Institutions in Surabaya and 20 UK Institutions in Medan with a few sponsors and partners who also contributed the events.

This exhibition was aimed at potential students who would like to pursue either boarding school, further education and higher education in the UK.  So we were targeting a large range of age groups.  Moreover, it played a key role in giving UK education prominence, raising awareness and awareness of our Education UK profile in Indonesia.  More importantly, it catered for the interest of tthe visitors to our exhibitions (the students and their parents).

There were 3,858 visitors attended the 2 days exhibition in Jakarta, 1,060 visitors attended the exhibition in Surabaya and 1,036 attended the exhibition in Medan. The visitors were varied from parents, high school students, UG & PG students and professionals.  In overall, it was a fruitful event and the feedback from the visitors and exhibitors were fairly positive. Moreover, lessons learned are well noted for further improvement.
