Education agents play a very important role in supporting UK institutions in student recruitment in Vietnam, and therefore act as an important influential channel that our British Council keeps engaging with to build UK education market share.

Every year, British Council Vietnam organizes an annual event with directors and key counsellors in a network of education agents who have been working closely with us to promote UK education in Vietnam. The network now includes over 80 education agents totally in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city and Danang. This flagship event aims at supporting professional development of agents to ensure they are kept updated with information about UK education market, refreshed with UK visa policies and well-equipped with counselling skills and knowledge of UK education system.

In 2020, the event will be organised from 5th to 12th March 2020, including one day for training to agent counsellors and one day of meeting with agent directors. We would like to invite representatives of UK schools, colleges and universities to participate and deliver training sessions to education agent counsellors at the training day. You are then welcomed to attend the Annual Meeting with Agent Directors as invited guests. (All of these activities are free of charge). This is a very good opportunity for UK institutions to raise profiles and develop relationships with education agents in Vietnam.
