The British Council in Thailand and the Department for International Trade are delighted to invite UK Higher Education Institutions to join the first ever TNE Mission to Thailand. The Mission will visit the capital of Bangkok, plus the option of an additional city, either Chiang Mai or Khon Kaen.

This mission is part of the British Council’s ‘Think TNE: East Asia Transnational Education Dialogue Series’

The Mission will:
- Provide opportunities for UK institutions, to explore market potential and kick-start partnership discussions.
- Allow UK institutions to understand the opportunities arising in the market; particularly in the Branch Campus initiative, local partner demands, and assess market readiness.
- Participate in pre-arranged 1-2-1s with potential local partners.
- Meet with senior and high-level policy makers in the Thai government and Thai Higher Education Institutions

The TNE Mission to Thailand is now open for applications until 31 August 2018. Please note that places will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.

PARTICIPATION FEE INCLUDES:
• Venue hire, catering and refreshments at the events included in the programme
• Market briefing on TNE Opportunities in Thailand jointly delivered by DIT, British Council, and external speakers
• Local transportation to events is included but domestic travel between cities is not included.
• Discounted hotel rates

Please note that the participation fees do not include international travel, domestic travel to Chiang Mai and Khon Kaen, hotel accommodation, subsistence or freight, unless specified.
