A joint master’s degree programme roadmap call for proposals

British Council seeks to commission a consultant to advise on Peruvian and British HEIs enhancing their market understanding and the steps required to effectively develop TNE partnership initiatives that might lead to the creation of a joint degree or double degree master’s programme in STI management.

Peru started its university reform in 2015, since when the British Council has engaged with policy-makers and key sectors, advocating for UK global expertise to support decisions and changes for quality in areas of academic development, research collaboration and internationalisation. This is an excellent opportunity continuing to enhance UK HE sector presence and reputation in the country, as well as contribute to the reform and quality of  higher education in Peru. The total value of the consultancy will be up to £45,000.

Apply to this opportunity to provide expert technical assistance and contribute to building stronger, more inclusive, internationally connected higher education institutions which support economic and social growth. You can connect, collaborate, and innovate with HEIs and education policy makers in Perú and UK through this consultancy, by designing a roadmap for HEIs in Peru and in the UK to effectively engage in partnership development geared towards the creation of a joint degree or double degree master’s programme in inclusive STI management.

The consultancy will be implemented in two phases:

1) Initial sector research, consultation and engagement of relevant HE stakeholders in Peru and UK needed to inform the development of a roadmap.

2) Draw up the roadmap for the development of Peru-UK HEIs partnerships to create a joint degree/double degree postgraduate programme in STI/Research management, strengthening capacities of relevant HE stakeholders while they participate in the consultation and validation processes.
