International accreditation bodies needed for accrediting Pakistani TVET institutions

About this opportunity

The National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) in Pakistan, invites international accreditation bodies to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to accredit selected Pakistani TVET Institutions.

Any interested public or private accreditation awarding bodies of international repute are requested to submit their complete organisational profile, outlining their respective criteria for accreditation, and accreditation experience of TVET Institutions before 28 April at 10am (UK time) / 4pm (Pakistan time).

Who can apply?

  • The applicant shall be an accreditation awarding body
  • The applicant may be a state-owned enterprise, private entity, institution, organisation, or any combination of such entities in the form of a joint venture (JV) under an existing JV agreement or with the intent to enter into such an agreement supported by a letter of intent. (Please attach Incorporation Certificate with the application)
  • The applicant accreditation awarding body must be recognised/chartered by the government of the country, in which its Head Office is based, or any other country
  • The applicant accreditation awarding body must be internationally reputed in awarding accreditation for TVET technical training institutions and provide previous accreditation experience of TVET institutions
  • The applicant accreditation awarding body must have experience of at least 3 years
  • Applicants may be ineligible if they are nationals of countries that are not recognised by the Government of Pakistan
  • An applicant that has been declared debarred or blacklisted shall be ineligible to be prequalified
     

How to apply

Applicants can submit an application electronically to dgnavttc21@gmail.com by 28 April at 10am (UK time) / 2pm (Pakistan time).

Alternatively, applicants can also submit a hard copy of the Pre-Qualification documents to the NAVTTC's headquarters at the address given provided in the application form. Physical applications should be received within 30 days of 25 April 2022.

Note:

  • The applicant must clearly mention the name of the awarding body, complete address, countries where it has a presence, and their areas of specialty in accreditation.
  • The applicant should also provide:

 (a)       Incorporation certificate

(b)        Detailed experience (number of years, country(s) of experience, field of experience etc.)

(c)        Copies of Annual Audited Accounts of last two years

(d)       Methodology or proposed plan for conducting accreditation of Pakistani TVET Institutes

(e)        Organisational Profile

(f)        Undertaking regarding blacklisting to be furnished on company letterhead

(g)        List of countries where accreditation certificate of applicant is accepted

d)         Clearance certificate from the relevant regulatory authority of country (s) of experience

Submit your expression of interest electronically by 28 April 2022 at 10am (UK time) / 2pm (Pakistan time)
