Outcomes expected through this collaboration

Providing opportunities for students to complete a British degree in Sri Lanka at PCHE will help to expand the UK partner university’s internationalisation ambitions and their TNE promotion. This will create wider prospects for research collaboration, staff development, knowledge sharing exercises and overall financial growth of the two partners.

How will this collaboration benefit both institutions?

  • The partnership will provide an opportunity to reach an existing student base with diploma and HND level programmes, and the broader student community with substantial benefits to the partner institute.
  • Diversification of student base - collaborating with PCHE enables the partner institute to diversify its student demographic by attracting students from different backgrounds and educational contexts.
  • Enhanced reputation and credibility.
  • Opportunities for collaborative research and development.
