The British Council, in partnership with CRCC Asia, an international internships provider, and StudentUniverse, a travel booking service for students, is pleased to offer one scholarship for an internship placement at the British Council in Tokyo, Japan.

The scholarship is designed for a student with disability, bringing the experience to an individual who may not previously have had an opportunity to live and work in Japan.

The successful applicant will undertake a business placement at the British Council in Tokyo for four weeks between October and November 2018. The intern will live in the centre of the city and gain transferable business skills and hands-on experience whilst working in an international setting.

This comprehensive scholarship includes:

• Full support from CRCC Asia, both pre-departure and on-the-ground in Tokyo
• Accommodation for the duration of the internship
• Return flights to Tokyo, provided by StudentUniverse
• an internship placement at the British Council office in Tokyo and a stipend to cover living costs whilst on placement.
