Hunan University of Science and Engineering (HUSE) is looking for UK partners for collaboration on articulation programme and/or joint education programme for dual degrees, at undergraduate level and in any of the disciplines below:

• Visual Communication and Design
• Data Science and Big Data Technology
• Education

It could be in form of 3+1 or 4+0 and start with articulation programme. Joint education programme aims to recruit 120 students per year, from Sep 2024 (or 2025).

Benefits for the UK partners

For the selected UK partner, this is an opportunity to establish a long-term partnership with one of the established public universities in South Central China, with the potential to expand into other areas, such as student and faculty exchange programmes, joint research, international conferences and other international educational programmes that benefit both sides.

Areas of responsibility for the two collaborating parties

Selected UK partner will be in charge of:

• developing the curricula for the articulation and joint programmes together with HUSE
• providing qualified teaching staff for the joint programmes
• awarding bachelor’s degree to students

Chinese universities will be in charge of：

• Promoting and recruiting students for the programme
• Providing qualified teaching staff as well as required teaching space and logistical support
• Supporting students to pursue further study in the UK                                                                                                                                                                                                             

About Chinese University

HUSE is one of the established public universities in South Central China. At present, our university has 14 teaching schools and 51 undergraduate majors, covering eight disciplines such as Economics, Law, Education, Literature, Science, Engineering, Management and Art. It includes 4 “14th Five-Year Plan” provincial applied characteristic disciplines, 4 national first-class undergraduate major construction points, 6 national first-class undergraduate courses, 20 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction points, 58 provincial first-class undergraduate courses, 1 provincial key laboratory, 2 provincial virtual simulation experimental teaching centers, 23 provincial innovation and entrepreneurship education centers and bases, and 1 provincial university University-research Cooperation Demonstration Base, 1 provincial university science and Technology innovation team, 1 provincial science and technology innovation and entrepreneurship team, 4 provincial engineering (technology) research centers, 8 provincial social science research bases (centers), 3 provincial science popularization bases.
