As the fastest growing economy of Europe with significant increase in consumer expenditure on education, Turkey has seen an increase of approximately 97 per cent in the number of students studying in the UK since 2004-2005 (Higher Education Statistics Agency). 

British Council Turkey has made an important contribution to this growth through its School Visits programme that has helped establish strong relationships between Turkish supplier Schools and UK Institutions.

To sustain this growth, British Council Turkey is offering an exciting visit programme in October 2012 which will combine, School Visits with our ‘UK Higher Education Days’, which involve visits to Turkish Universities, and briefings for students at those schools and universities. This is a five-day programme spread over two weeks that will consist of three days in Istanbul, one day in Ankara and one day in Izmir.

Ankara: Wednesday 10 October 2012
Istanbul: Monday 15 to Wednesday 17 October 2012

For the autumn period, British Council Turkey is piloting an additional day in Istanbul in November.
