The British Council in China is seeking a freelance academic consultant with expertise and track record in developing technical proposals and monitoring and evaluation (M&E).

The role will have a particular focus on China, and will work closely with the China Head of English Programmes and their team to develop and shape programmes for ELT in Education and English Connects.

Responsibilities include:

 - providing technical assistance to develop technical proposals for ELT in Education and English Connects

 - leading and developing the M&E process and tools for all projects

 - informing and supporting strategic decision-making for China English programmes through the provision of appropriate and timely information, analysis and evidence.
