The British Council require an evaluation consultant to measure the impact of the “English for Success” project and identify areas of success and learning in the project to date, as well as to review an evaluation framework and related set of evaluation tools which can be used to assess the impact of the project in the classroom in the medium and long term.
It is envisaged that the consultancy would be in the end of November 2017 and the final report completed by 15 December 2017. The consultancy will involve a five day visit to Atyrau and Kulsary, Zhylyoi district, Atyrau region, West Kazakhstan as well as one day of desk work prior to the visit and one day desk work post visit.
The consultant should have specialist expertise in secondary and higher English education and experience of small-scale INSETT and PRESETT projects and their evaluation. The consultant should also ideally have experience of working in remote areas.
