The British Council in Brazil, through its subsidiary Associação Conselho Britânico, is hiring consulting services to identify, analyse and report on the impacts of the activities and projects under the Women in Science Programme in Brazil.

The selected supplier will be responsible for i. analysing project impact on direct and indirect beneficiaries/participants; implementation partners; beneficiary institutions; relevant stakeholders, including any potential systematic or institutional impact perceived by key institutions and stakeholders; and ii. mapping opportunities and challenges for leverage and system change focussing on gender equality policies feeding into a wider agency of the British Council in the theme and the role it plays in internationalisation strategies, as well as other activities listed in the Requested for Proposal (RFP), available below in the ‘Downloads’ section.

The selected supplier will deliver the following activities, as presented in the RFP:

  • Developing an impact analysis methodology for the aforementioned project considering that data collection will involve participants from the UK as well as Brazil.
  • Apply the methodology and produce a final report identifying opportunities and challenges to reach the objectives set by the projects, as well as qualitative and quantitative analysis of the impacts produced.
  • Produce ‘life story’ snapshots and testimonies of those impacted by the project, including the participating implementation institutions and beneficiary institutions as well.
  • Create a slide deck presentation compiling the results and findings which can be used to communicate the impacts in a fun, clear and effective way to the internal and external public in Brazil and in the UK.
  • Supplier is expected to provide collateral facts and figures in the form of graphics, tables, charts, and/or other visual language for data presentation as well as impact statements
  • Facts and figures must be included in a way we can easily extract them to other presentations and/or contexts.

Total service cost must remain within the respective thresholds, according to the country in which the selected supplier is based, including VAT and/or taxes:

•           UK-based: £20,000.00

•           Brazil-based: R$ 127,400.00
