World Education Fair is the largest educational fair in South-Eastern Europe, with bi-annual editions in Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Croatia, and Slovenia, gathering educational institutions from around the world. Romanian World Education Fair exhibitions were started more than eight years ago by IntegralEdu – Number 1 consultant for studies abroad in the country – to help young people get the right information about new opportunities for university, college and school education abroad.
Between 27th of September and 2nd of October 2019 World Education Fair will take place in Bucharest and other three cities. Over one hundred educational institutions coming mainly from the UK, France, Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Sweden, USA, Canada will attend these events to promote university, high school, and gymnasium programs along with language camps abroad to prospective students from across Romania. World Education Fair will kick off in Iasi (the biggest city in Romania's Moldova region) on September 27. The main exhibition will be held on 28 – 29 September at Radisson Blu Hotel in Bucharest. The programme will end with two more events held in Constanta (south-east of Romania, on the shores of the Black Sea) and Timisoara (located in western Romania, and European Capital of Culture in 2021) on the 30th of September and the 3rd October respectively.
Note: The British Council has entered into a strategic partnership with IntegralEdu Romania to help increase the visibility of universities, schools, and colleges from the UK taking part in the World Education Fair. This partnership has been designed to provide enhanced promotion through British Council’s communication channels for every UK institution choosing to attend the World Education Fair in Romania and superior exposure for the Study UK brand as a whole. On the evening of September 27, British Council Director will host a networking reception for UK exhibitors, other international representatives present at the exhibition, and key contacts from the local education sector.
To help UK HEIs maximise the benefit of attending, British Council will organise three mini-fair style events to be held within three of the most prestigious international schools in Bucharest on 27th of September (one day before the opening of the large-scale exhibition in Bucharest). Application by universities to take part in this school tour is open in the Exhibitions calendar on our IES site https://education-services.britishcouncil.org/exhibition/study-uk-bucharest-international-schools-tour-september-2019.
