On 17-18 March 2017, the British Council will host the second Forum on Innovation and Enterprise Education in Beijing, China. The event is funded by the Department of Business, Innovation and Industrial Strategy.
At this second Forum, British and Chinese participants will come together to consider a number of critical challenges for innovation and entrepreneurship education in order to progress policy thinking and institutional best practice. These challenges include:
- How to provide quality assurance and develop national standards for innovation and entrepreneurship education?
- How to integrate innovation and entrepreneurship education into curriculums and support teachers in delivering them?
- How to improve learning effectiveness and the student experience to truly cultivate innovation and entrepreneurship?
The event will provide a platform for British and Chinese education policy-makers and practitioners to:
- Examine the key challenges confronting both countries’ education systems in terms of innovation and entrepreneurship education.
- Share and discuss the latest policy thinking and good practice in addressing these challenges.
- Support like-minded institutions in developing international collaborative partnerships in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship education.
