A British Council stakeholder in Chile is looking for a British Council Accredited language course provider in the UK, to deliver two six-week courses:
- For TVET students: A six-week ESP course with industry visits totalling 30 hours per week. The students are currently studying courses focusing on industry, and the ESP course should be built around the following areas: technology, IT, renewable energy, agriculture, supply chain management, port management. The course should also include a range of activities such as visits to local centres of industry and excursions on the weekends.
- For TVET teachers: A six-week course in English Language Methodology with a focus on teaching in a TVET setting. The course should also incorporate materials/sessions about teaching students of industry, particularly: technology, IT, renewable energy, agriculture, supply chain management, port management. The course should also include a range of activities such as visits to local centres of industry and excursions on the weekends.
- Duration: 6 weeks
- Course Dates: January and February 2020
- Group Descriptions:
- A group of 10 Chilean TVET students, with minimum of B1 English level, wishing to improve their English language skills.
- A group of 10 Chilean TVET English teachers, with minimum of B1 English level, wishing to improve their English language teaching skills.
- Accommodation: Accommodation might be sourced separately for this group. So please simply include the standard weekly prices for homestay and residence for reference.

Proposals will be assessed according to compliance with the terms of reference above. All institutions with compliant proposals will be contacted. Once the final institutions are selected, all participating institutions will be notified.
