'UK Week' was hosted at the British Council premises from 28th of July to the 1st of August. It was successful in attracting a good number of participants in its inaugural year, during the course of the week we had 220 students participating in the various activities.

There was a vibrant atmosphere throughout the week with students thronging to receive counselling, attending screenings of blockbuster movies and participating in interactive UK related quizzes. One of the main attractions of the week were the presentations by UK universities. Further interest was driven by providing attendees with an IELTS tip session and by running a Q&A program with Nepalese graduates from the UK universities.

British Council Nepal will continue this event next year in August/September.
