On the 3^rd to the 5^th November British Council UAE held their annual exhibition. Entitled “Everyday an Inspiration” it covered both Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Abu Dhabi saw some 1,127 visitors attend (Doubling the previous year’s numbers!) and visiting some 26 UK institutions who were exhibiting. Dubai was equally popular, with some 1064 (A decrease on the previous year’s numbers), but those that attended had greater access to some 41 UK institutions who were exhibiting.

Some exhibitors raised concerns about the price and the venue, particularly in Dubai. This is certainly something we will consider and re-assess for next year, although on the whole this exhibition was met with positivity from both exhibitors and visitors alike – The results from our “Mystery shopper” were particularly reassuring.
