British Council Ghana and Nigeria held its first Study UK Sub-Saharan Africa Thematic Webinar Series on Engineering and Technology and Finance, Business and MBA courses in the month of November. These webinars were held on 12 November and 26 November respectively. They were held for students and professionals keen on pursuing a degree in Engineering, Technology, Finance, Business and MBA in the UK in 2020-21.

The webinar gave an opportunity to the participating UK institutions to virtually meet potential students from across four countries (Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa) who are interested in higher studies in the UK. The webinar provided a great platform for the UK Institutions to promote their programmes, scholarships, intake dates, admission related information to the participants.

Representatives from 6 UK HEIs participated in this webinar. A total of 1,203 prospective students registered for the webinars with a total of 305 participants at the webinars. Recordings of the webinars were made available to all registered participants after each webinar took place.
