China Education Expo 2012, organised by the China Education Association for International Exchanges (CEAIE), took place from 20 October to 3 November 2012 in seven cities in China, including Beijing, Xi’an, Chengdu, Shanghai, Wuhan, Changsha and Guangzhou.

This year the British Council China continues to maintain the high quality and positioning of the Education UK brand in the exhibitions. The expo attracted 72 exhibitors and 31,000 visitors in total.

In addition the British Council China’s project media monitor report indicated that the UK pavilion at the China Education Expo 2012 achieved a significant growth in terms of media coverage and media value compared to the figures from last year’s expo.
