Our recent online event sharing the findings of British Council commissioned research into the changing nature of the competitive environment for EU student mobility was well attended, with almost 200 representatives of UK Universities, Government and the British Council signing up to take part. The research, conducted by The PSC in partnership with our EU Higher Education Team, looks at the HE value propositions of traditional competitor countries to the UK such as the USA and Canada, but also at other markets who are attracting increased numbers of EU students such as Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland and Italy. Beyond comparing the markets in terms of size, price and perceptions of quality on a number of key metrics, the research gives examples of some of the innovative marketing and support services offered by National Education Agencies.
