Turkey Virtual Exhibition was organised for the first time to bring together visitors and the UK institutions on an online platform between 26 February – 2 March 2013.

The event successfully attracted students from 65 cities across Turkey and 40 per cent of total participation was from cities other than Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir which constitute the biggest three cities in terms of student recruitment in Turkey.

Exhibition visitors were positive about the event as 94.2 per cent of them expressed that they would consider attending the exhibition in future.

This is a new concept of accessing UK institutions that would need long-term commitment to increase the awareness in the market. We expect interest to remain high and aim to continue offering this great opportunity to potential Turkish students.
