In October 2016, British Council Spain held their annual Education UK exhibition in Madrid (19th and 20th) and Barcelona (21st).

In total 2,350 visitors attended the exhibition over the three days, with access to 43 unique UK Institutions. In Spain, the numbers of students going abroad grow year on year and the UK remains the most attractive study destination (20% growth over 4 years)

UK Universities continue to be perceived as enhancing long term career opportunities. While it is impossible to measure the impact of Brexit or how much of the market will choose German and USA options, the market will continue to be a strong one in a country with the biggest number of English speaking international schools in Europe.
