British Council Nepal organized their first IT Quiz contest in Kathmandu in collaboration with College of Applied Business (CAB). The contest was focused on the field of Information Technology and participants were students, studying IT courses in different colleges and universities in Nepal.
In the contest, there were 25 groups from 19 different colleges. All together there were 100 participants. The event was supported by different institutions such as UK educational institutions, local media houses, and some business organizations. UK institutions were involved in the event in the form of sponsorship.
Overall, the event was successful. All participants expressed that it was good platform for them to exhibit their knowledge. In addition, they thanked the British Council and UK sponsored universities for their support.

British Council’s Services for International Education Marketing (SIEM) team will organise an inter-college quiz in Kathmandu next year.
