For the first time Education UK Exhibition in Warsaw was organised separately from the Higher Education Fair in Germany. However, we chose the date  30 November 2012  to enable UK universities to travel directly from Germany to Poland if they wished.

As in previous years, the Fair was held from 11:00 to 15:00 and in such a short time attracted about 500 visitors forming long queues to most stands all the time. Most exhibitors commented that the visitors were focused and a number of them completed enrolment documents on the spot.

As a result of visitors’ feedback, we plan to organise 2013 exhibition on Saturday and extend the duration until 18:00 to allow more students and parents to visit the exhibition. Many people came from distant places to visit the Fair and not only from Warsaw area.

While a slight fall in the number of Polish students in the UK can be noted, the interest in studying in the UK among Polish students is still very high. As a result of the feedback received both from the visitors and the exhibitors, we plan to change the format of the next Exhibition to allow for more information sharing opportunities, seminars and face to face meetings. We will also expand the promotion campaign considerably.
