The Education UK Exhibition in April 2014 was another excellent occasion to promote UK education and give the opportunity to Greek students to meet UK institutions, explore their options and/or confirm their final choices.  A few highlights from our April events:

• Nearly 5,300 visitors joined the events in Athens and Thessaloniki
• More than 80% of visitors asked, rated the event as excellent or good
• More than 60% of visitors asked, will be making an application to the UK as a result of their visit to the exhibition
• More than half of the participating institutions will definitely be attending this event next year

Both events proved to be successful attracting a good number of students and institutions (47 in Athens and 21 in Thessaloniki).  To sustain the lead of UK education at times of increased competition from other European markets,  we are holding four exhibitions  this year. Our new entry is the Thessaloniki  exhibition which will take place for the first time in November 2014. Our goal is to reinforce our November offer by increasing our reach in the two big centres, -and not just Athens as has been our practice so far-, hence making the November session more promising in recruitment terms for UK institutions .
