In February 2016, British Council Botswana hosted their Education UK exhibition at the Avani Gaborone Hotel and Casino in Gaborone.

The event called “Expanding Your Horizons” covered the HE/FE/Schools market, and hosted representatives from 19 institutions that positively engaged with prospective students/visitors/partners, providing the audience with information on educational opportunities and subject choices.

The event attracted over 500 visitors thanks in part to the media interest/marketing campaign. Alongside the main exhibition, a series of seminars/briefings were also held, with topics covered including breaking into top universities.
