The Art and Design Mission was convened cities of in Delhi and Jaipur from 16 to 19 February 2016. The mission commenced in Delhi and concluded in Jaipur. While the primary and long term objective of the mission was to create awareness about the research interests for institutions of both countries, another important feature of the mission was to promote the range of art and design courses offered by UK institutions to potential Indian students.

Delegates from 5 UK Institutions visited local institutions specialising in Art, Design and Crafts and were a combination of private and government funded Institutions.
