All India Briefing February Fair 2019 - presentation now available

Study UK Fairs are held each year to showcase to local students and influencers the wide range of study opportunities available in the UK, a glimpse of student life in the UK and career prospects of a UK qualification.  The fairs provide UK institutions a platform for recruitment, brand building and help UK institutions develop and strengthen links with local education providers. The February leg of the 2019 fairs was held from 2 to 9 February 2019; travelling to Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kochi, Mumbai and Delhi. The fair attracted 4910 visitors across seven cities.

The all India briefing, and pre- event reception was held in Bangalore a day before the start of the fairs. The evening was graced by over 80 guests that included delegates from over 50 UK institutions, local institutional contacts and education consultants. At the delegate briefing, Manjula Rao, Director, Higher Education and Society, British Council India gave an economic overview of the Higher Education landscape in India, with focus on research, recruitment and partnerships.
