The British Council SIEM team concluded a very successful ‘All India briefing and networking reception’ in Chennai on 2 February 2014.

The evening marked the commencement of the Education UK exhibitions February 2014 – India. It began with a welcome note by Mr Paul Sellers (Director, British Council South India), an update on India and exhibition logistics by Suchita Gokarn (Head, SIEM India).

Andrew Soper (Counsellor (Prosperity), British High Commission - New Delhi) gave an update about the GREAT campaign and made a mention that the GREAT campaign 2014-15 will be delivered by the British Council in India. The evening concluded on a musical note with a mesmerising performance by students of KM Music Conservatory and Middlesex University. 

The successful evening was attended by over 200 guest including UK delegates and other key people from the local Education sector.
