Xi’an International Studies University Seeks UK Partner for Undergraduate Articulation Programme in Accounting

In order to expand its students’ international horizons Xi’an International Studies University’s School of Business, has decided to sponsor 4 accounting students each year to study in the UK.

It is looking for a UK partner to host these 4 students for the fourth year of a 3 + 1 ACCA & CIMA articulation programme, on an annual basis.

The cost will be fully covered by the school as an award to the selected students.

About School of Business, Xi’an International Studies University

Established in 1952, Xi’an International Studies University is the only university in northwest China conducting a complete range of foreign language programmes. It is now an important foreign languages education base.

The School of Business has incorporated both ACCA and CIMA certificate training into the undergraduate accounting curriculum. The success of these programmes has received a high level of recognition from students, parents and the provincial and national educational administration. 100% of the first cohort of ACCA & CIMA students in 2011 gained employment or pursued post graduate degrees abroad.

The students have a very high standard of English, and all courses are delivered in English.

Timeline

The School of Business wishes to receive responses from UK universities in November 2015 with detailed communication taking place between the two parties in December. The school plans to start sending students from September 2016.
