The British Council in Vietnam would like to forward the invitation to UK universities to submit papers for the Vietnam Education Conference ‘Higher Education – Standardisation and Integration’ organised by Vietnam National Assembly Committee for Culture, Education, Youth and Children in Hanoi on 17, August 2018.

UK representatives who work in East Asia, who will be in region in August, who are keen to present their experiences and expertise in areas mentioned below, and who wish to work closely with Vietnamese universities are invited to submit their papers to present at the conference by 30 May 2018.

The conference will focus on:

• Capacity of the higher education system
• University finance
• Governmental administration and university governance.

Selected speakers will be sponsored by the organising committee to attend the conference.

While the British Council in Vietnam is not one of the co-organisers for the conference, we work to support the higher education collaboration between the UK and Vietnam, and to support Vietnam in their internationalising education, science and innovation. We would also be keen to support UK speakers on their extended working schedule in Vietnam if needed.
