Education agents and counsellors play a critical role in marketing UK education and supporting international students on their journey to the UK to ensure that they have an outstanding international student experience.
Beside the UK education’s selling points such as quality, short courses, employability, graduate route visa, Vietnamese students are also attracted to the UK because of its unique culture.
British Council Vietnam requests UK/ or Vietnam Consultant provide a training programme about UK Culture for education agents and school counsellors targeting to the aspects that attract Vietnamese students choosing to study in the UK.

The expected outcomes of the UK culture training or showcasing activity:

• improve education agents and counsellors’ understanding about the UK culture of four countries (England, Scotland, Wales and North Ireland), where to search for UK cultural materials to showcase in their Study UK marketing campaigns and the events
• help education agents/ counsellors confidently provide more cultural information to students/parents to make UK culture as a unique selling point in addition to other UK education’s selling points.
• Design a showcasing format to allow agents/school counsellors use for their exhibition to engage students to learn more about UK culture of four countries (England, Scotland, Wales and North Ireland). Provide seed funds for selected agents/school counsellors to demonstrate the designed showcasing format as a culture session at their exhibition

The total cost of this training programme is 13,000 GBP including consultant fee and 3 grants for UK culture showcases.
