University of Taipei, Institute of Educational Administration and Evaluation seeks UK partners for joint programmes

Institute of Educational Administration and Evaluation, University of Taipei in Taiwan, is seeking UK partners to develop the University's joint Master degree or Doctoral degree programmes in the fields of educational administration or evaluation. They plan to welcome the first cohort in the 2021/22 or the 2022/23.

Areas of responsibility for the two collaborating parties

The selected UK partners will be expected to work with Institute of Educational Administration and Evaluation, University of Taipei to:

  • provide the joint degree of Master or Doctoral programmes;
  • provide student exchange programmes;
  • provide faculty joint research opportunities.

Institute of Educational Administration and Evaluation, University of Taipei, will be responsible for:

  • promoting and recruiting students for the joint degree programmes;
  • providing qualified teaching staff as well as the required teaching premises and logistical support for the programmes;
  • supporting prospective students in preparing to study in the UK as part of the programmes;
  • awarding master or doctoral degree certificates and to the students upon successful completion of the programmes.

This is an opportunity for the selected UK partners to establish a long-term partnership with one of the key universities in Taipei, Taiwan, with potential for expansion into other fields, such as student and faculty exchange programmes and joint research. It is also a good opportunity for the UK partners to raise their institutions’ profiles and brand awareness in Taiwan, which may benefit student recruitment and brand awareness development.

Institute of Educational Administration and Evaluation is dedicated to fostering talented graduates in the areas of educational administration, educational evaluation, and institutional research. The majority of the graduates found jobs in the Ministry of Education, Department of Education, Taipei Teachers’ In-Service Education Centre, Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Council of Taiwan, National Academy for Educational Research, elementary schools, junior and senior high schools, universities, and research institutes. Faculties engage in the educational researches with the Taipei City Government, Ministry of Education, and local schools. The goals of the Institute are facilitating research on educational policy and administration, institutional governance, and quality assurance, training highly skilled academic researchers, developing students’ innovation thinking and professional development, and engaging in international exchange and interdisciplinary research.
