The subject specific booklets are a series of Chinese language brochures published by the British Council that focus on a selection of specific academic areas. In the past three years, British Council has covered a wide range of subject fields including Engineering, Media and Communication, Social Science, Computer Science and Sports Management. The booklets are very well received by prospective students and their parents in China. Students who are interested in these subject areas often use the booklets as a guide to source institution profiles and detailed course information.

In 2012, an Art & Design courses booklet will be developed in line with the ongoing UK Now 2012 Arts Festival in China, to promote UK education’s excellence in this area and showcase the UK’s achievement in art and creative industry. The booklet is planned to be officially published in mid-October and will be extensively distributed at the China Education Expo 2012 in the leading cities across China. Further distribution will be carefully planned alongside other Education UK marketing campaigns and events in China in 2012 and 2013. The e-version of the booklet will also be available for free download on the Education UK China website (www.educationuk.org/china).
