Tianjin Foreign Studies University seeks UK partners for articulation undergraduate programmes

The School of Law at Tianjin Foreign Studies University is looking for UK partners to develop and deliver 2+2 and 3+1 undergraduate articulation programmes in the fields of law, diplomacy and international politics.

Upon successful completion of the programme, students are to receive a Bachelor’s degree in their field from the UK partner university.

The university is also open to discussing short term exchange programmes in the same areas.

Benefits for the UK partners

This is an opportunity for the selected UK partners to establish long-term partnerships with one of eight foreign studies universities in China, with potential for expansion into other fields, such as student and faculty exchange, joint programmes and joint research. It is also an opportunity for the UK partners to raise their institutions’ profiles and brand awareness in China, which may benefit student recruitment and business development.

Areas of responsibility for the two collaborating parties

The selected UK partners will be expected to work with Tianjin Foreign Studies University to:

  • develop the curricula for the joint programmes
  • provide support in the quality assurance of the programmes

Tianjin Foreign Studies University will be responsible for:

  • promoting and recruiting students for the programmes
  • providing qualified teaching staff as well as the required teaching premises and logistical support for the joint programmes
  • providing foundation programmes for those students pursuing undergraduate degree courses at the UK university
  • supporting prospective students in preparing to study in the UK as part of the programmes.

About Tianjin Foreign Studies University

Tianjin Foreign Studies University is a multidisciplinary higher education institution founded by the approval of Chinese Ministry of Education, and under direct administration of Tianjin Municipal Educational Bureau. It is open to cooperation with foreign educational institutions on international educational exchanges including teaching exchanges, student exchanges, study abroad preparatory education, and cooperative education programmes.

The School of Law aims to cultivate comprehensive and skill-oriented, high-level talent with solid theoretical foundation and well-developed communication competence by integrating majors and foreign languages.
