Introduction

Hang Seng Management College (HSMC), self-financed university-level institution in Hong Kong, is seeking a host organisation for a study tour in the London area for May 21-27 2018, for between 8 and 20 students. The study tour aims to provide the students with an interactive educational experience, in contrast to the teacher-led learning that is predominant in Hong Kong.

Study Programme

The tour has a broad language and culture focus. Topics could, for example, be alternative perspectives on Britain (as opposed to a standard history lesson), or how Britain of the future might look. Language classes would need a local focus as opposed to standard English language classes. Sessions could be either classroom based or incorporated into a tour of London. HSMC are looking at a gamified tour of London as part of the visit (e.g. http://rebus.london/). Additional ideas are also welcome,

Besides the host organisation, the involvement of forward thinking and innovative local businesses would be welcome, for example innovative startups, tech companies.

Location

HSMC are ideally looking to stay in London, however institutions nearby London that could offer a unique experience would also be considered for day trips.
