Sinarmas World Academy is a private school in Tangerang, Indonesia that was established in 2008. It provides an international education experience from Pre-K to Grade 12. SWA is an IB World School that is also authorised to offer Cambridge IGCSE Programme.

SWA is looking for a Primary School in the UK to host their exchange programme in April or June 2018. The participants in this programme are Primary students from Grades 4 – 6 (aged 10 – 12 yro).

Expected Outcome:
Students should be able to learn about host country, its people and culture, they will be able to develop self-discipline and respect for others, they can improve their communication skills, widen social interactions and cultivate an interest in international studies.

Benefit for UK Institution:
Host school will be able to send their students for an exchange programme at SWA, their students are able to gain global perspective of education and learn Indonesian culture.

Interested UK School can send a proposal by Wednesday, 11 October 2017 to Audrie Sanova at audrie.sanova@britishcouncil.or.id

• Details/ background about your school
• Objectives of the programme
• What the school can offer and expect from SWA in the partnership
• Possible dates of implementation
• Person(s) to contact

Timeline:
Oct - Nov 2017 – planning period/ discussion/
Dec 2017 - review of MOU
Jan 2018 - MOU signed + SWA to promote UK partner
April 2018 - project commences (school trip to UK)
