Short consultancy opportunity developing report to support Sector Skills Council development for the Creative Industries in Nigeria
The British Council together with the Job Creation Unit of Nigeria seeks to enhance the relevance of skills training to employers in specific growth industries.
In Nigeria, the British Council maintains a Skills and Enterprise portfolio as part of its effort to support the Nigerian government’s agenda to enhance the relevance of skills training to employers in specific growth industries using Nigerian and UK partners. The creative industries in Nigeria, more specifically film and broadcasting are rapidly growing industries and have been selected as a priority sector.
We have a short consultancy opportunity to develop a report that will support the development of a Sector Skills Council in Film and Broadcast. The final report to be submitted should consist of a sector skills council operations manual created in consultation with Nigerian stakeholders. This will include a mapping of the sector and organisations, proposed terms of references, an overview of governance, industry engagement methodologies and a road-map for moving forward.
Please find more information on this opportunity below. The application deadline is Monday 29 January at 17.00 (GMT), should you have any questions please contact carina.kanbi@britishcouncil.org
