Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance seeks Student Exchange Partner

Opportunity
Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF) seeks a top UK Business School partner to run student exchange programmes and study tours.

Exchange Programme
Each exchange would be for about five students and last for three months. The proposal is for Chinese students to go to the UK in September and UK students to come to China in February each year.

Study Tour
The study tour would last for seven to ten days. For every ten UK students hosted by SAIF they expect the British University partner to host one SAIF student, with a cap of 40 students coming to China. For Chinese students going to the UK, the focus would be on finance-related topics. For students coming to China, the topic would be doing business in China, although topics can be tailor-made based on the UK partners’ needs.

Costs
For both the exchange programme and study tour the tuition fees would be waived but students would be responsible for their own living expenses and travel costs.

Long Term
In addition to the student exchange and study tour SAIF also hopes to identify a British business school partner with whom to establish a dual Master of Finance or MBA degree programme.

Background
As a member of Shanghai's financial community, SAIF strives to contribute to the development of Shanghai as a global financial centre and plans to establish itself as a world-class institution of research and advanced learning in both finance and management. It was established at Shanghai Jiaotong University in April 2009 and enrols over 600 students each year. SAIF offers the following degree programmes: Masters of Finance, with English as the medium of instruction (EMI); Finance MBA (EMI); Finance EMBA and a PhD in Finance. They also offer an Executive Development Program. For further information please visit: http://www.saif.sjtu.edu.cn/en
