Seeking two universities to host joint webinar on undergraduate medical degree programs in the UK
The British Council is seeking two universities to host a joint webinar on undergraduate medical degree admission requirements. The audience for the webinar will be counselling professionals in the USA. The webinar should familiarize the webinar attendees with undergraduate medical degree programs in the UK and should focus on non-standard admission requirements (i.e. interview, test, etc.) for the undergraduate medical degree programs at the presenters’ universities. Through this webinar, the British Council and participating universities will equip counselling professionals with knowledge to improve the quality of student advising on study options in the UK. This webinar is part of the British Council’s ongoing engagement with counselling professionals in the USA.
The webinar will be promoted to the British Council USA’s counsellor network, and on the British Council USA website.
A strong bid will be a joint bid from two universities that have non-standard admission requirements and have Americans enrolled in their undergraduate medical degree programs.
Webinar date: Thursday, 17 September 2015
Application deadline: Wednesday, 5 August 2015
Action Required
Applicants should send the proposed presenters’ information, a brief overview of the undergraduate medical degree programs available at their universities, the non-standard admission requirements and the average number of Americans that are enrolled in the undergraduate medical degree programs to Jenna Hartsell, Education Coordinator, Jenna.Hartsell@britishcouncil.org by the application deadline.
