Representing Canada – opportunity for your Canadian students
The Canadian High Commissioner has been asked to nominate an outstanding young Canadian in the UK to carry the Canada Flag at the Commonwealth Day Observance at Westminster Abbey, in the company of Her Majesty the Queen and other dignitaries. The chosen nominee must be between 15 and 25 years old, and have made a positive contribution to his or her community or be engaged in Commonwealth activities. If you would like to nominate an exceptional candidate (including yourself!), please email CanadaPlus@international.gc.ca with information about why they should carry Canada’s flag. Note, this one has a tight deadline of Friday, February 6, 2015.
